Self-awareness and Self-compassion are keys to a life fully lived. Anxiety, depression, relationship issues, etc direct our attention to areas of life where we are ready to grow. These challenges invite a reassessment of the choices we make and how we make them, beckoning us into greater alignment with our true life purpose and joy. Sessions are tailored to the present moment - becoming curious and listening inside to the sensations, thoughts, and emotions calling for attention. What is your body saying? What is the language of your heart? What patterns show up in your outer world that reflect your inner dynamics? Awareness enables proactive choice to replace unconscious habits. We will explore various coping skills, activities and allies; meditation, breath-work, movement, nature, dream, art, journaling, music, prayer, etc, to find the ones that work for you. A foundation of my work is The Internal Family Systems Model℠, developed by Richard C. Schwartz, Ph.D. This form of therapy aids in surfacing, reclaiming and integrating aspects of the self that are ready to be healed and brought into conscious awareness.
